CEO & Co-Founder
Lorraine qualified as an adult nurse in 2010. Prior, she had spent several years on an acute medical ward that specialised in Haematology. Since returning to the care sector 3 years ago, Lorraine has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience into the community setting. It was during this time in her career she felt determined to make a difference within the care industry. It was Lorraine's passion to make a difference that brought about the establishment of ADL Care LTD. She is committed to building a successful home care business that provides the highest quality care with lifelong friend Jayne.
CEO & Co- Founder
Jayne started her career in care 7 years ago when looking after 2 brothers in their 90's, quickly realising she brought happiness to their life's, decided her life long vocation was in the care sector. Whilst caring for many people, completed her NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care in 2017 and then her NVQ 5 in Management for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services in 2020. She has gained huge experience and knowledge within the care sector and decided it was time to start up a domiciliary care agency of the highest standard with lifelong friend Lorraine.
Practice and Development Executive
Darren developed a passion for care which began 8 years ago. His first steps were taking care of his Mother for 3 years until she passed, he continued living in the family home caring for his Father until he passed in early 2021. During this time Darren became a CSW where he would visit individuals in the comfort of their own home. He quickly became an expert in delivering a high standard of care, recognising the needs of the individuals he cared for. Hands on experience wasnt quite enough for Darren as he had a thirst for furthering his knowledge within the care sector, this led him to completing a diploma in Advanced Health Care and obtaining an NVQ Level 3. Recognising his potential he successfully landed a position with the NHS (St Richards Hospital) where he continues to thrive in his nursing environment, so much so he is proud to say that he has a new position of the wards Education Facilitator. Darren is enjoying the role so much that he would like to pass on his knowledge to others and is ADL's part time Trainer.
Senior Carer
Harriette started her career in care in 2019, quickly realising she brought happiness to the people she cared for and getting great job satisfaction, wanted to further her knowledge in the care sector and help make more of a difference to peoples lives. Harriette is passionate about the people she cares for, with a sensitive eye for detail with each individual and having a calm nature, would like to further her knowledge within care. ADL Care had the position of Senior Carer and Harriette fits the criteria beautifully. Harriette now has the opportunity to start her NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care which she is looking forward to starting.
